Excellent Core / Low-to-No points 2-minute “Dinner”

~ Nature’s Own Double Fiber bread slices are 1 pt (for 2 slices), no points for 1 slice. It’s all the fiber that makes these slices rock. They’re not funky tasting either - they just taste like wheat bread.



~MorningStar frozen Black Bean Burgers (2 patties) slathered with some mustard. No points. Core, in fact!


This made for a super-quick, highly filling 2-point dinner with plenty of fiber.

My son (who’s 14) is still a little bit of a junk-food eater. He was telling me that he was proud of my sticking to the plan (a month now) and really carefully monitoring my points. I have used 19.5 points so far this week, with 15.5 remaining. I’ve earned NO activity points, sadly – I have been working until almost 8pm. Since I haven’t been working out this week, I am making DOUBLE SURE to keep well within points range. We were comparing our eating habits since I’m on the plan and he’s just a 14-year old kid with few food-worries. *Today he had 154 points. He was horrified. Especially when I told him that I ate 8.5 points today. I think it gave him some perspective in how terrible fast-food really is for the body. He knows this peripherally, but the fact that the points-value for his medium fries obliterated my entire daily intake, was a bit of an eye opener for him. Incidentally, I would not encourage child to obsess about weight or worry about dieting, but this plan really helps everyone involved look at food in a different way and to have great conversations about health.

*again, he is NOT on the plan, but we calculated what he ate today for reference and to prove how tragic fast-food is compared to healthier choices.

Chace Crawford gets back into his school uni and gives photographers a big smile while shooting scenes for Gossip Girl on Thursday in Long Island City, New York.

Chace celebrated his 23rd birthday last Friday and had a big bash attended by Blake Lively, Penn Badgley and Lydia Hearst.

The new season of Gossip Girl starts September 1st. Recent ads, however, have stirred controversy lately.

‘Nique is looking to train for an upcoming Malibu Triathalon to raise money for the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles and after seeing pictures of Zac toning his temple, she wants to work out with him. “That would be so cute,” Coleman told E!. “I keep seeing all those [paparazzi] shots of Zac, and I’m like, Look at him being all grown up!”

Amy recently told press that she can’t wait for her incarcerated hubby Blake Fielder-Civil to get out of the slammer so that they can get started making babies. And she wants at least five!

If anyone remembers, this song was pitched to Vanessa Hudgens but it was not used for her album in the end, so Jessie (formerly of Shut Up Stella) is using it as her first single.

After a relaxing weekend showing off her bikini body with her boys, Britney Spears got back to work on her new album last night in Hollywood. While we're excited to hear what she's got in store next, she may still be getting recognition for last year's Blackout. Rumor has it that Brit will be scoring a VMA nominatation in the Best Female Video category for "Piece of Me". We'll find out for sure tomorrow night on FN MTV, and though it may not be as exciting as another comeback performance sounds like a good way to get Miss Brit on the red carpet for the show.

Bachelor Matt Grant and fiancée Shayne Lamas have ended their short and often-rocky relationship, they tell PEOPLE.

"We tried hard to make it work but we realized that we were both heading in different directions," the two said in a statement to PEOPLE. "We truly care about each other and will remain close friends."

Neither would elaborate.

Grant, 27, and Lamas, 22, have been plagued with reports of trouble since their televised engagement on ABC's The Bachelor: London Calling in May.

One month later Grant told PEOPLE that he had moved out of Lamas's Century City condominium, citing a need for "space."

At the time Grant said the engagement was still on. "This stuff makes us stronger," he told PEOPLE.

Grant picked Lamas, an actress and the daughter of Lorenzo Lamas, from 25 female contestants vying for the English financier. In the show's conclusion, Grant not only presented the winning rose to Lamas, but also got down on one knee and popped the question with a 2.85-carat platinum and diamond eternity ring.
